Amelia Thyen is a first-year student in the Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Boston University. Prior to her time in Poetry Now Amelia had never considered herself a poet, but has found a place in her heart for the unique genre. When she isn’t studying for general Chemistry and Biology, she is practicing with the BU women’s rowing team or teaching swim lessons at the campus gym.
